Steve gained an Honours Degree in Philosophy from the University of Birmingham in 1975 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979.
He was a partner in a Yorkshire based firm for several years before joining UHY Hacker Young in Nottingham in 1987 and was admitted to the partnership on 1 April 1988. Steve now works as a consultant to the office, responsible for small and medium sized businesses and new business start-ups. He has substantial general practice experience and responsibilities and has particular interest in the field of raising finance, start-ups and management and financial assistance to developing businesses.
